In celebration of the International Cool Climate Chardonnay Celebration, Stratus Presents:
“To Lees or not to Lees?” – “That is the Tasting!”
Taste and discover the effect of ‘lees’ on Chardonnay – This horizontal tasting will explore four Stratus Chardonnays from 2012, 2015, 2017, 2019. Assistant Winemaker Dean Stoyka will guide the tasting and share in the style and winemaking evolution of Chardonnay at Stratus and why it has been deliberately unfiltered and ‘bottled with lees’ since 2015.
