At Stratus, our vineyard's voice is defined as much by the soils underfoot, as the shifting weather patterns above. Our Weather Report series is ever-changing - each wine, an individual snapshot of a growing season.
Expect to find intense big black fruit aromatics and flavours of blackcurrant, cassis, and dark cherry, mixing with spice notes of clove, cinnamon, and vanilla. Very ripe texture, fresh acidity, and chewy tannins carry the palate to a long finish that sneaks in some red fruit character along the lines of holiday cranberry sauce.

"This inaugural Cabernet Franc from the new Weather Report series is a pretty nice drop at an attractive price. It shows a vibrant, intense colour in the glass with aromas of brambly raspberry, dark cherry, earth, currants, spice, vanilla and subtle herbs. It has intensity on the palate with flavours of wild raspberry, anise, tobacco, herbs and integrated spice with ripe, approachable tannins that all lead to a smooth finish." - 91 points.
