Spectacular Cabernet Franc Unfiltered and Bottled with Lees
The aim of this design collaboration with Karim Rashid was to embody the Stratus philosophy of 'form followed by function' and to capture the elements of vineyard diversity and winery design into a single contemporary bottle.
"I tasted the 2015 twice before release in the first half of 2018, most recently when it was served blind at the Brock University Experts Tasting, and completely wowed the gathering. It showed uncommon elegance, poise and power with a gorgeous nose of well fitted berry fruit, cedar, spice, fresh herbs and oak vanilla. It is medium-full bodied, but again so texturally refined that is seems light. The tannins are nicely meshed as well, although you may want to age it a year or three. The oak could also integrate a bit more. The length is outstanding. Last tasted May 2018 " 95 Points - David Lawrason - Wine Align
