Soft aromas of peach, apple and lemon with enticing whiffs of orange creamsicle, melba toast and savoury limestone emerging as the wine warms in the glass. The Palate has a bright, youthful lemony attack bolstered with crisp apple and white peach as the midpalate segues into the still-developing finish. Quite delicious now and only going to get better with a bit of time.

Growing Conditions

Weather conditions across Ontario for 2019 had cooler and wetter periods than normal but overall the season was good. The budbreak in most areas had a slight delay, however the sunny autumn drew out the end of the season.

January started off mild but was a month full of significant weather events including extreme could and heavy snowfall, which continued throughout February, while the rapid thaw in March was the mafor weather story of the spring. Significant snow melt led to high water levels for the start of the growing season.

August was warm and stormy, leading into a comparatively quiet September, cool with some rain - but brining decent conditions to finish off the summer and begin the harvest season.
